Skratch Recovery Waffles

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 C Flour
2.5 T sugar
3 1/2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 1/4 C milk
6 T melted butter
1 egg
2 Scoops Skratch Labs Recovery Mix (chocolate, vegan chocolate, horchata, or coffee)

PREPARATION

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and Skratch Recovery. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled waffle iron. Pour or scoop the batter onto the iron. Cook to your preferred waffle color. 

Note: Depending on the flavor, Skratch makes the waffle look darker when it cooks, but it’s not burned! Keeping the heat lower and cooking longer will ensure it is cooked all the way through.
