Electrolytes are minerals, like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, that help your body hold onto fluid, maintain proper muscle function, and keep your nervous system firing. When you sweat, you lose more than just water, you also lose electrolytes, especially sodium. If you don’t replace both, your performance can suffer. Replacing them helps you stay hydrated and perform better, longer.

Our electrolyte profile was developed to match what is in sweat - 400 mg sodium/L, 80 mg potassium/L, 100 mg calcium/L, 80 mg magnesium/L. We include the average amount of electrolytes lost in sweat, especially sodium, so your hydration reflects what your body actually needs. That balance helps your body absorb water faster and makes thirst a better guide during exercise.

A small amount of sugar helps your body absorb fluid faster through something called sodium-glucose co-transport - this helps water and electrolytes move from your gut into your bloodstream more quickly. Best out there!

The strawberry lemonade is my favorite hydration (fruit punch is a close 2nd) and I LOVE the Horchata flavor recovery shake (cold or hot). Love the hydration because its not overly sweet like some others. Dial in your dosage and log those miles!

I've tried (almost) every flavor

I love skratch because they don't use zero cal sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. They taste great and help me not cramp after exercise as I'ma heavy sweater. My personal rankings of the flavors:
-lemon lime: 10/10 the best. Tart and sweet.
-Orange: 6/10 meh.
-apple cider: 10/10 and 4/10. smells amazing, and the first few sips are good, but if you don't chug it, it rehydrates into watery applesauce. I don't love thick and chunky hot liquids.
-strawberry lemonade: 5/10 could have been a winner but there's no lemon flavor. I'd recommend adding the unsweetened daily to this.
-pineapple: 2/10. tastes like pure sugar. no tartness.
-POG: 3/10 suuuper sweet. tastes the same as fruit punch.
-fruit punch: 3/10 way too sweet. could be fruitier.
-raz lime: 10/10 another fav. tart and sweet, good flavor, love the boost of caffeine on long backpacking trips.
-grape: doesn't seem to be offered anymore.
-matcha green tea: doesn't seem to be offered anymore.
-strawberry: doesn't seem to be offered anymore.
-peach: doesn't seem to be offered anymore.
