Here are a few ways to tinker with our products to either create a gel if that is your preferred fuel source or a concentrated bottle for something like an Ironman when the aid station might not have your preferred nutrition, you don't want to open packets etc.

For a gel-like option you can use 1 scoop per every 1-1.5 ounces.

As a starting point 3.5 scoops or 1 x 53g packet Super High-Carb Drink Mix = 200 calories and 200mg of sodium

7 scoops or 2 x 53g packets Super High-Carb Drink Mix = 400 calories and 400mg of sodium

You can always start with less and add more as needed, based on your caloric and electrolyte needs.You can mix High-Carb with our other hydration mixes into one bottle but you’ll want to do some math and make sure you are getting an appropriate combination of carbs, sodium, and liquid to your needs and to avoid GI distress (too many carbs in too short of a period and you’ll be busting your gut…). This ratio can change depending on the weather, effort, and other factors, so test things in training and if you have questions, hit us up: [email protected]

-You can refrigerate but we do not recommend freezing.

I love the high-carb mix drink

Fueled my 6 day 120 mile race with zero gut issues

I just finished the TransRockies Run 6 day 120 miles with 20,000' vertical and fueled my run almost exclusively with Skratchlabs products, specifically Super High Carb. Each day I would fill one of my 500ml flasks with SHC and the other with water and Skratch Sport drink. I didn't rely on aid stations other than a few salt/sweet cravings if I had any and when I refilled my bottles I had extra individual packets of SHC and Sports Hydration in my pack. For six hard days I had zero ZERO gut issues. I love that the SHC has a very mild flavor and not sweet. After so many hours of fueling one gets super tired of sickly sweet things so the fact that their products are just mildly sweetened is a winner for me.

The Super HIgh Carb mix is amazing- I now need only that plus a few gels and I'm going 60-100 miles no problem. There's no problem absorbing it, and this version the taste is super light and not an issue (the 1st version the taste was too strong).

Great fuel option

I have a very sensitive stomach, and this has been a good solution for me. This is a great fuel option for long sessions, especially in hot weather. It has a very light taste, so I don't develop flavor fatigue. I do feel it in my stomach longer than the regular hydration mix, which sometimes is uncomfortable,

This is the best sports drink I have found. It makes it easy to fuel on the bike and it keeps you energized on long rides. The flavors are tasty and easy to digest. Highly recommend.
