Electrolytes are minerals, like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, that help your body hold onto fluid, maintain proper muscle function, and keep your nervous system firing. When you sweat, you lose more than just water, you also lose electrolytes, especially sodium. If you don’t replace both, your performance can suffer. Replacing them helps you stay hydrated and perform better, longer.

Our electrolyte profile was developed to match what is in sweat - 400 mg sodium/L, 80 mg potassium/L, 100 mg calcium/L, 80 mg magnesium/L. We include the average amount of electrolytes lost in sweat, especially sodium, so your hydration reflects what your body actually needs. That balance helps your body absorb water faster and makes thirst a better guide during exercise.

A small amount of sugar helps your body absorb fluid faster through something called sodium-glucose co-transport - this helps water and electrolytes move from your gut into your bloodstream more quickly. Great for long workouts!

Training for a two day hike from Aspen to Crested Butte, CO. The trainings have been hot and having the Hydration Packs have helped so much to keep me hydrated. They are easy to take with me in my backpack and I love the different flavors. Hard to pick just one!!!

I always use Skratch, lemon/lime flavor!

Big fan of Skratch products all around. But as far as flavors, I have tried a few, every flavor is amazing. I just got the watermelon flavor, delicious, taste just like a fresh, perfectly ripe watermelon. Skratch has never upset my stomach while cycling, and this holds true for any flavor I've used. Highly recommend.

I love the hydration mixes from scratch. They keep me hydrated and supplied with electrolytes all they my long runs and rides.

Love the watermelon’

A friend told me about you guys because of allergies I have to flavorings and so I decided to try the watermelon out. It’s awesome, not too sweet and the flavor isn’t overpowering. I wish that I had bought more before it was gone! I’m allergic to citrus oils sadly (they cause skin blisters) so I’m limited in what I can try. I’m totally going to keep my eyes out for more flavors and I need to try the mango too. I felt great after using the watermelon so I hope you bring it back next summer so I can snag more!!
