Electrolytes are minerals, like sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, that help your body hold onto fluid, maintain proper muscle function, and keep your nervous system firing. When you sweat, you lose more than just water, you also lose electrolytes, especially sodium. If you don’t replace both, your performance can suffer. Replacing them helps you stay hydrated and perform better, longer.

Our electrolyte profile was developed to match what is in sweat - 400 mg sodium/L, 80 mg potassium/L, 100 mg calcium/L, 80 mg magnesium/L. We include the average amount of electrolytes lost in sweat, especially sodium, so your hydration reflects what your body actually needs. That balance helps your body absorb water faster and makes thirst a better guide during exercise.

A small amount of sugar helps your body absorb fluid faster through something called sodium-glucose co-transport - this helps water and electrolytes move from your gut into your bloodstream more quickly. Tasty and effective

The lemon lime flavor is really refreshing on hot days, easy to stomach, and doesn't funk up my running water bottle. It's my go-to for longer training runs so I can replace carbs and electrolytes without making myself more thirsty with a salty tasting mix

Raspberry Limeade For the Win!

This flavor is my favorite by far. Not sweet at all or overpowering. The extra boost of caffeine really helps in the morning. Would highly recommend trying this flavor. I do wish they had it in the 60 serving bag though, only downside.

Every race I go they provide us with Skratch because they know it’s the best to fuel ultra runners. Every rest station I’ll have a perogie and a cup of skratch ( lemon + lime of course. And I’m good to go for another 20k

I'm not usually a fan of sports drinks because I tend to find them super sweet. I bought the lime one and it is actually good, sweet but not too much. I used 4 scoops and it was ok. As other reviews say, it is a bit hard to mix, so make sure you follow the instrucction and shake well withought a lot of water in the bottle and then add more water, if not you'll end up with not mixed powder.

The lemon lime is a great tasting flavor. I prepare this in the morning and drink it throughout the day. This is a great option for everyday and sports use.

Cramping!

I finally learned why I cramp so much, it is because I have an issue with low sodium. So, I use a Skratch hydration mix almost every day, even when I'm not exercising enough to break a sweat. Since I started drinking Skratch on a regular basis, my cramping issue has greatly decreased. I also like that all their products are easily digestible.
